講義概要/Course description
An in-depth look at the lives of those who have impacted society in years past.  Students can hear about a variety of people, famous and unheard of who have made some significant contribution to their community or society.   You will have an opportunity to do research and to interview hopefully your parents and grandparents to cover a wide range of views. 
達成目標/Course objectives
This course will bring to life the lives of those in recent to ancient history.  Students will learn to pick out highlights to make appealing presentations both individually and in a group project context. 
履修条件（事前に履修しておくことが望ましい科目など）/Prerequisite
No requirements but a love of history and an appreciation for mankind would help.

授業方法/Method of instruction
Students are taught about the lives of some individuals perhaps famous, perhaps unknown.  Being equipped with presentation skills it is hoped that students can bring to life deceased persons of their own choice. 
成績評価方法/Evaluation
1 100% Based on the two main power point presentations ( 20℅ x 2 ) plus the final group project (60%)
