講義概要/Course description
THEME: World Changers
This course will look at men and women who have changed the course of human history.  We will examine individuals whose extraordinary decisions/ideas/actions have helped to shape the world that we see around us today.  Discussion and research will follow, where students will identify similar figures from the same era who they feel contributed in a comparable way.  In this way it is expected that students will improve their vocabulary, listening, reading, writing, conversation, and presentation skills, while at the same time broadening—in English—their historical knowledge from a Western perspective.
達成目標/Course objectives
The purpose of this course is to give students an opportunity to take a content-based course in English which is broadly related to their major fieldsof study (International Politics, Economics, or Communication).
