講義概要/Course description
This course provides an overview of International Business and examines relevant case studies on International Business. This course aims to improve understanding of International Business in order to gain global competitiveness. After completing this course, students will have acquired:

• familiarity with interaction between external/internal environment, organization, and HRM

• understanding of cultural and regional differences in the global market

• Understanding of CSR in International Business

 
達成目標/Course objectives
Major topics include Cross-cultural management and communication in business, organization structure and design, Human Resource Management in international context, and CSR.

Relevant case studies mainly cover topics of globalization of Japanese companies, and selected global firms. Students have to prepare for each of the sessions by completing required English readings. 

履修条件(事前に履修しておくことが望ましい科目など)/Prerequisite
This class will be offered in English and applicants must keep in mind they need to understand enough English to actively participate in class.
There is no need for certified proof of English proficiency. However, students should meet at least one of the following minimum English proficiency scores: 
TOEFL paper-based 520, TOEFL iBT 68, IELTS  5.5, TOEIC 650.
