This course aims to help you gain fluency and build the confidence necessary to express personal opinions and experiences in English.
We will develop different skills such as asking for opinions, giving opinions and reasons, giving supporting evidence, agreeing, disagreeing, showing active listening and asking questions.
We will cover different topics from the text. However, if you have any suggestions or ideas for discussion topics, please share them- we, the class, can decide.
You are expected to prepare for discussions. Preparation includes: - Researching to find supporting evidence (facts, data, opinions) - Reading texts, listening to audio or watching videos - Planning your ideas, opinions, reasons and supporting evidence
