|
This course is mainly about comparative politics of states with different domestic systems and foreign relations. It covers both developed and developing countries, with emphasis on the issues of democracy, political economy, development, human rights, race, gender, and globalization.

To learn the basic concepts relating to comparative politics. To understand the historical and contemporary international affairs and their impact on each state. To compare different political systems among states. To compare diverse influences of international affairs on each state.
