講義概要/Course description
The content of this business English workshop course is flexible and will cater to the needs and wishes of participating students. Tasks will include review and discusion of trending business issues, learning language from TV advertisements, social media, and current news, TED Talks on trending business topics, and the study of grammar. The course will practice all four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

This course focuses on enhancing the English language skills of non-native speakers in a business context through the studyof TED Talks on trending business topics. The course provides a unique approach to language learning, allowing students to expand their vocabulary and comprehension while staying informed on current business trends. The curriculum includes group discussions, quizzes, vocabulary exercises, and pair debates, alldesigned to foster critical thinking and improve students' ability to communicate effectively in English in a business setting. The ultimate goal ofthis course is to equip students with the confidence and skills to function effectively in an English-speaking environment.

The syllabus below outlines the basic intended structure. We will focus on topics and tasks that benefit the participants of the course the most.

The objective of this course is to enhance the English language skillsof non-native speakers in a business context through the study of TED Talks on trending business topics. The course aims to improve your comprehension, vocabulary, critical thinking, and communication abilities in English, with the ultimate goal of equipping you with the confidence and skills to function effectively in an English-speaking business environment. This will be achieved through a variety of tasks, including group discussions, quizzes, vocabulary exercises, and pair debates, that provide an engaging and informative way for you to learn business English while staying updated on current business trends.These tasks involve reading, listening, discussion, vocabulary building, critical thinking, and communication exercises, all designed to enhance your language skills in a practical and interactive manner.

このコースの目的は、トレンドのビジネス トピックに関する TED Talks の学習を通じて、ビジネス コンテキストにおける非ネイティブ スピーカーの英語スキルを向上させることです。 このコースは、学生の理解力、語彙力、批判的思考力、コミュニケーション能力を英語で向上させることを目的としており、最終的な目標は、英語を話すビジネス環境で効果的に機能するための自信とスキルを身に付けることです。 これは、グループ ディスカッション、クイズ、語彙演習、ペア ディベートなどのさまざまなタスクを通じて達成され、現在のビジネス トレンドを最新の状態に保ちながら、魅力的で有益な方法でビジネス英語を学ぶことができます。 これらのタスクには、リーディング、リスニング、ディスカッション、ボキャブラリー ビルディング、クリティカル シンキング、およびコミュニケーション エクササイズが含まれます。これらはすべて、実践的かつインタラクティブな方法で学生の言語スキルを向上させるように設計されています。
