FIRST LECTURE - AMERICAN CULTURAL HISTORY, and the Rise of diverse cultures. What is culture? All human beings possess culture as part of his/her own identity. This includes language, beliefs, religion, values, norms as well as material objects or intangible memories that are passed down from one generation. Let us talk more about this today. |

The Civil War effects during 1861 - 1864 during the time when Abraham LIncoln became the President and declared the document, EMANCIPATION PROCLAMATION to free all African American Slaves from the work on the Southern Plantations. 11 states were against this social change, but states supported the ideals of equality and freedom in the Constitution. Let us talk more about this today. |
