講義概要/Course description
|
International communication is the primary focus for students in this coursework based on established approaches for English as a Second Language. Since this is an integrated language approach, students will accomplish multiple folds of task-based learning modules. By introducing students to advanced methods of communicating in English, each student will be able to develop his/her own style of speaking and writing in English for presentation purposes.

|
Students will have on-hands training to present at any international forum as each session will give students the opportunity to speak out with confidence and without judgment. Practice models can help each students to note that there are often common errors for spoken English for second language learners. This is a natural way for learning occur and progress. In this case, this is called DEVELOPMENT LEARNING by trial and error. In a collaborative setting among peers, students can work together in developing his/her own style in a well organized manner for an international audience in a safe, caring environment.

Please bring your own electronic dictionary and/or other devices that will help you translate English words into your native language. Language acquisition takes place when there is an immediacy to the spoken or read words in a text. By transferring information from one language to their own native one, students can begin to identify phrases and sentence structure that flows naturally. Thus, providing information that is vital for good communication to occur at any time in a given presentation.
