1 Heath C. and Heath D. Decisive: How to make better choices in life and at work Penguin Random House LLC. 2013 Most decision-making frameworks include problem-solving steps. The WRAP framework described in this book focuses solely on the decision stage. When you have one or several potential solutions, how can you analyze that solution to make the most effective decision? The WRAP framework will be introduced in class. This book gives more context and is optional.
2 Kahneman, D. Thinking, Fast and Slow Farrar, Straus and Giroux 2011 This book focuses on the unconscious or subconscious processes (fast) that effect our conscious decision-making processes and guide our actions (slow). This optional reading will provide a foundation for the psychology behind decision-making.
