講義概要/Course description
In this class, students will learn the Japanese language necessary for daily life through out-of-school learning, experiential learning, and interaction with Japanese people, and will develop an interest in the Japanese language used in daily life and an attitude of challenge in communicating in the community.
In Disaster Prevention in Japan, students will learn the Japanese language necessary for disaster emergencies in Japan.
In Japanese Community, students will learn the Japanese language necessary for daily life by interacting with local Japanese people in simple Japanese.
In Japanese science, students can go on field trips to Jaxa and learn the Japanese language necessary for field trip visits.
達成目標/Course objectives
The goal of this class is for students to be able to enjoy life in Japan through exposure to Japanese disaster prevention, local communities, and science, learning Japanese rooted in daily life, and learning survival-level Japanese.

事前学習/Preparation Prepare for the materials to be distributed in class. Do the preparation and practice necessary to do the tasks and projects.
事後学習/Reviewing Review the class content. Write a "Reflection Sheet" after each task or project. The "Reflection Sheet" will be distributed at the time of class.

課題(試験やレポート等)に対するフィードバックの方法/Feedback methods for assignments (exams, reports, etc.)
Feedback on basic Japanese quizzes will be given in class. Mid-term and final projects will be evaluated for presentation and feedback will be given on the spot.
メッセージ/Message
Although this class will be conducted in English, students are encouraged to actively use the Japanese language expressions learned in class during tasks and project activities, as the goal is to "learn survival Japanese so that you can enjoy your life in Japan".
